Another Midwinter Bites The Dust

Tens of thousands of dentists, hygienists, assistants, and students all converged last week at McCormick Place for the 152^nd annual Chicago Dental Society Midwinter Meeting. Nearly 30,000 professionals were in attendance in total, reconnecting with old friends, discovering new dental companies, and learning from world-class lecturers.

And, of course, Supply Clinic was in attendance. We had had a fantastic time on the exhibit floor, meeting many of our customers in person and introducing ourselves to many future customers. Armed with a couple of iPads and Wi-Fi, we showed countless dentists and office staff how they can price compare for free and save thousands by buying their dental supplies through Supply Clinic.

Technically, this year was our second annual first time exhibiting. Our booth was somehow tagged as a first-time exhibition, and we were given the eight-foot banner and complimentary box of chocolates. (There might be a metaphor tucked in there somewhere, but we’ll let it go for the time being.) At this rate, next year will be our third time at the Midwinter conference as first-time exhibitors.
